Kebhouze: Britain's 'biggest kebab shop' to open on Oxford Street

The kebab chain already has two dozen sites across Italy and Spain, and its owner is an Instagram star
Nice to meat you: this will be the UK's biggest kebab shop

An enormous new kebab shop founded by an Italian entrepreneur with more than 20 million followers on Instagram will open on Oxford Street this month.

Kebhouze, now 24-strong with sites across Italy and Spain, was launched in 2021 by the sun-kissed entrepreneur Gianluca Vacchi, a multi-millionaire businessman, fitness fanatic, DJ, and social media star.

A three-storey site with arcade games, table football, and street art will be London’s first, opening on December 21 with a menu of wraps, burgers, and kebab bowls.

Described as an “immersive experience,” Kebhouze also features a seven metre installation by British artist Philip Colbert, AKA The Lobster, on the second floor.

All this to be enjoyed alongside an eclectic fast food menu featuring chicken, veal and turkey, beef, and “Planted,” Kebhouze’s own pea-protein based vegan alternative.

Press fluff sent to the Standard claimed Kebhouze will be Britain’s “biggest kebab house” when open.

General manager Oliver Zon said: “When it comes to the UK, you either go big or you go home. We of course decided to do one better than that and go for the biggest, opening the nation’s largest ever kebab house.

“Unlike the kebabs most Brits are accustomed to, we offer premium ingredients at a low cost, and prioritise variety, so whether you fancy a wrap, bowl or burger, Kebhouze is here to satisfy your cravings.

“Our three floor store on Oxford Street is one of a kind; an immersive kebab house packed with entertainment for all ages. Our mission is to ensure Londoners can enjoy kebab in an entertaining and fun setting – all while keeping costs low and quality high."
