Casa Familiar’s 50th Anniversary Abrazo 5K/10K Fundraiser Celebrates: A history of Advocacy for Human Rights – A future of Equitable Transformation

This annual 5K walk/ 10K run has a course that takes participants through the community of San Ysidro. The event takes place on May 6th, and all proceeds gathered will benefit leading community and economic development initiatives, direct services, community events, social justice efforts, and a community led economic and environmental resiliency master plan.

In 2023, Casa Familiar will celebrate its 50th year as a 501(c)(3) non-profit living on mission to serve the community of San Ysidro and neighboring communities in the South Bay. Our focus continues to be on building community to advance the movement towards justice and equity for communities like San Ysidro and its neighbors, and celebrates community champions and leaders who partake in this journey.
